Hi, I’m Jackie Tallent and my home is Alaska. This great state became a part of me 42 years ago when I arrived following God and seeking adventure. My quest to serve God and others has caused me to move elsewhere a few times for work and ministry but I just keep coming back because the Alaskan way of life is in my blood. I love her warm people, beautiful landscapes, and simple lifestyle where people harvest the land and help their neighbors.

On my journey I have met amazing people, beheld the grandeur of some of the most beautiful places on earth, eaten so many varieties of exotic foods, and done things I could never have dreamed of doing. Along the way I was blessed to collect dear friends and amazing experiences, while learning so many lessons from those people and experiences, and storing up oh so many wonderful memories.

I’ve been told more than once that I should write a book or document my adventures and perhaps I laughed just a little, but here I am now launching into a season of writing and beginning right here with this blog.
